About Sam

My work sits at the intersection of clinical knowledge and embodied healing, allowing me to support others in ways that are both evidence-informed and deeply compassionate.

My journey into wellness is personal. As a trauma survivor and lupus warrior, I understand firsthand how deeply the body holds stress, grief, and survival patterns—and how essential it is to feel safe in order to heal. Yoga became a powerful part of my own recovery, helping me regulate my nervous system, reconnect with my body, and reclaim my sense of power. That experience led me to pursue advanced training in trauma-informed care, mindfulness, breathwork facilitation, reiki, sound healing, children’s yoga, group exercise, and assisted stretching, shaping an approach that honors both science and lived experience.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of guiding individuals and communities through movement, breathwork, mindfulness, healing touch, and restorative practices that support physical recovery, emotional regulation, and inner balance. I don’t see myself as just a yoga teacher—I see myself as a gentle guide, helping people navigate their healing journey while also supporting them through the often complex and overwhelming healthcare system.

At the core of my work is a commitment to authenticity, compassion, and accessibility. I believe in meeting people exactly where they are, honoring their lived experiences, and creating spaces where healing feels safe, empowering, and sustainable. My teaching style is grounded, clear, and intentional, allowing each person to explore strength, softness, and self-connection at their own pace.

Whether you’re seeking balance, healing from trauma, or a deeper relationship with yourself, my work is rooted in one simple belief: self-care is how we reclaim our power—and everyone deserves access to tools that support true, holistic well-being.

Self-care is how you get your power back. Let’s do it.
